Guillermo Arribas has lived in New York City for eights years and studied at New York University for Drama and Economics. He is of Spanish descent but was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan and raised in the U.S.A, Japan, and Spain. At a young age his parents instilled a passion for visual art, performance, and nature. Guillermo works as an actor in the city and can be seen in the films The Preppie Connection, The Awakening, and Central Park. G, as he prefers to be called, considers himself a creative in every sense. His hobbies include painting, ukulele, filming, baking, and operatic singing (in the shower).
“Movement has always been a fascination to me. When I imagine something I am going to act, paint, or film I always picture the movement and relationship between two objects. Language hardly ever comes into play." -G
Back in September of 2016, G was first casually introduced to Pedestrian Wanderlust's work but it wasn’t till roughly a year later that he joined the team. Now, G is working under Rami Shafi’s wing to learn the ins-and-outs of the Pedestrian Wanderlust philosophy, style, and mission. He has seen the project blow up over the last year and is honored to be a part of such a wonderful cause. As Assistant Director, he hopes can serve his community by making art, in all its forms, more accessible to everyone.
